How about considering progesterone as endometriosis is promoted from estrogen dominance. Progesterone will downregulate the receptors of estrogen, thus decreasing the estrogen effect and also the pain. I would prefer that approach first rather than to shut the whole hypothlamic-pituitary system down.

Lupron and endometriosis is something a woman can consider if she has been properly diagnosed by her doctor, and knows that the symptoms she is suffering are caused by endometriosis and not interstitial cystitis.
